WELCOME TO CARBIDE VC 1
CARBIDE aims to identify and invest
in a diversified portfolio of small to medium size companies where there exists
a realisable prospect that, through appropriate capital and management support
(or intervention if required), selected
companies should generate returns between 1.5 and 3 times risk capital
invested.
The primary focus of
CARBIDE would be companies that fall into the category referred to in Germany
as "Mittelstand”. These companies are the backbone of the German economy. They
are mature revenue generating, focused, independent enterprises that
manufacture or create and export their products or are essential suppliers to
larger industries. They have the capacity to benefit from cutting edge
technology and are employers and developers of skilled artisans.
